What is the Social Sciences?

The social sciences are a group of academic disciplines that study the human aspects of the world. The difference between the social sciences and the humanities and the arts is that the social sciences emphasize the application of scientific methods (in the sense used in the basic sciences), which include quantitative and qualitative methods.

WHAT IS A SOCIAL SCIENCE?

Humanities and social sciences tend to be lumped together as they are both the study of human beings and how we live, have lived or will live.
