Inclusive education is the right of all human beings
Inclusive education is a humanitarian and child-centered approach that is used to make education universal and to have all children in school free of gender, physical and mental abilities, social class, color, race, and ethnicity. This approach is in response to one of the major problems facing the world today, and the growing number of people who, due to their special circumstances, including poverty, age, gender, religion, physical and mental disabilities, have access to education and the ability to afford it. To be respected, to be accepted in society, and ultimately to be deprived of active participation in individual and social life. Among the above groups, children, especially girls, are more severely deprived and face more obstacles. Out-of-school children, working children, children of racial, linguistic, nomadic minorities, deprived children on the outskirts of cities, and children with HIV and AIDS are among the above groups.
In addition to the children and adolescents who have been deprived of education for the reasons mentioned above, a large number of children leave school despite the possibility of attending school before completing a course of study. UNESCO also includes other groups of children: children whose learning process does not meet their needs and expectations, and as a result, school and education do not make sense to them (2008 Unesco).
In 1948, human rights recognized the right of all human beings to education, regardless of their differences, and emphasized the equal right of these groups to access education. Following the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, there have been many global efforts to encourage governments to commit to providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged groups, especially to provide an exceptional education for children with special needs.
Types of Online Courses
You can hear many different terms regarding the types of online courses. Below are some definitions to help standardize what we refer to when we look at the many different options for online courses.
Flipped Course
Instructors record their conferences or use open source resources to deliver the content of the conference. Students can watch the videos and make a brief assessment of their understanding of the content before coming to class.
Hybrid Course
In the “hybrid” classes, much of the learning activity of the course has been put online, which reduces the time spent in class. Traditional face-to-face instruction is reduced but not eliminated. The “hybrid” course model is also called “mixed course”.
Face-To-Face
A traditional classroom environment where students and instructor meet synchronously in the same room; also called “on the ground” or “on campus” teaching.
Online courses
Web-based classes are most often referred to as online classes, and the term “web-based” is used more frequently when referencing online classes. Online / web classes typically use a learning management system (LMS: Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.) to publish all materials.
